How the hell am I the only person here who actually likes this??
Like, it's groovy, and the pop/funk that's there somehow works with the music. Yes, I understand that it's not the exact same as The Doors, but that's the point of covers! They're MEANT to be DIFFERENT from the original artist! Covers of big bands/artists done by other big bands/artists are usually a way for the covering band/artist to sing that song in their own artistic way!
And yes, I'm a huge Doors fan. They're my third favorite band EVER. I would absolutely sit through a full version of this cover.
