Grounding, also known as Earthing...
The Earth is electrically conductive and carries a mildly negative charge, therefore when we allow ourselves the time to make direct contact, the positive charge within us which has built up over time cane be neutralised.
Other reported benefits of regularly Earthing or Grounding are better sleep and pain reduction as well as being a natural way to relieve stress and anxiety.
If you are able to get into a body of water, even better! Ever noticed how refreshing, recharging and healing a dip in the ocean or paddle in a pool is?
Focusing on the enhanced physical sensations will also help ground you into this present moment which also makes it a wonderful mindfulness technique and practice. mindfulness practices are great for depression, anger, stress, anxiety... you name it - these practices do help.
