Did you sit in it?... you may find in woven fabrics you need some of that eas e to allow you to breath espcially on a pencil skirt. Most of the skirts i have seen you in are more fit and flare so have the room to breath.

Try sitting in it for a while before altering it just to make sure you're comfortable 🧵. Good fit so far

Curious about the craftsy class. Is it drafting from your measurements or from a chart? I'm unfortunately large in the waist and find all the charts are a few inches shy of my waist measurement. But I'm interested in drafting something from measurements so I can sew clothing that fits me.
