Karela Achaar ✨
I have used ‘pyaar ke barni’ combo from Bail Kohlu /nourish spices which includes kachchi Ghani mustard oil and fresh whole spices to make the achaar even more delicious.

Recipe:
Take 500 gms of Karela (bitter gourd)
Salt 1 tbsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Wash, dry and cut all the karela
Add salt and turmeric and keep it covered for 2 to 3 hours
Fry roast the Spices and grind coarsely 👇
3 tbsp fennel seeds
2 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp methi seeds
1 tsp Carrom seeds
3 tbsp Yellow mustard seeds
1 tbsp Rai
1 tbsp kalonji
10 to 12 black peppercorns
Squeeze out all the excess water from the karela and dry completely in the sun for 2 to 3 hours
Now, heat 1 cup of kacchi ghani Bail Kohlu Mustard oil
8 to 10 chopped garlic
1 peeled and chopped raw mango
2 tbsp Kashmiri lal mirch
1/4 tsp Heeng
Ground masala
1/2 tbsp salt
Vinegar - 3 tbsp
Juice of 2 lemon
Mix everything well and kept it at a dry place or in the sun for two hours in the Day
Achaar will be ready in three days. Enjoy with any meals of yours !!
