Everyone has their own learning curve with different game types. You got this! Just keep practicing, and you'll be able to climb higher.
Also, i recommend checking out some plat-diamond scrim matches on any discord server that has them! I also recommend checking out your replays on games that you feel you were a bit lacking in, to see what you could've improved on mechanically/game sense wise for that game.
The most important thing is to always keep your mental up though, it will help you think clearer and make better decisions, especially if you're a tank player. :))

The idea of if you haven’t made it to this rank yet you won’t go pro is a ridiculous premises and will hold many people back in many aspects in their lives. Most masters players started in the lower ranks, most doctors at some point didn’t know how multiplication worked. Getting good is a process, a journey. Also I’ve people start at D1 then a few seasons later be in plat. I’ve also seen one person consistently hit plat, then in 1 season go to Masters. You shouldn’t let past failures dictate you.

Your rank truly does not matter, it will go up as you improve, but if it’s all that you focus on, it easy to get tunnel visioned on pixel number rather than mistakes. I like this viewpoint you are taking, I think it’s helpful and will help you grow. On a personal note, I hit Diamond and never tried pushing past. I ended up competing in Varsity collegiate, scrimmed 4.2k-4.3k, and played tanks who peaked much higher than me. I won because me and my team worked well together, and I focused on fixing my mistakes and my IGLing, also worked closely with a coach who gave me good guidance. Why am I writing all this? Because I think if you continue playing and focusing on your improvement as a player and teammate, you can achieve your goal, excited to see more from ya!
