I saw this as I was driving home from the gym, and I had to pull over because I was legitimately shocked. The only other time Iāve seen the sun this red was when I was on a family trip in Chincoteague many years ago. The sun had just become a smidge of red light as it was sinking behind the western horizon.
This is clearly a different case. The sun isnāt supposed to look like this.

Iāve seen a red sun before. If youāre in the dry south of North America and you see a red sun, thereās a fire somewhere and the smoke is in the atmosphere, making the sun appear red. You might wanna check the news for any fire areas to stay away from. Hope this helped!
