🇬🇧 Strolling around Crete today we take you along dirt roads and wild landscapes through the mountains of Asterousia to the south coast.

Warning! This route should only be tackled with suitable means, better if accompanied by someone who knows the route.

Traveling these roads was a thought that accompanied me for a long time, I have to thank a friend of ours for having accompanied us down here, allowing me to realize this dream!

The descent towards the Tripiti canyon is truly fascinating, passing through it is almost unbelievable, what then appears once you have passed this passage is incredible.

The magnificent beach of Tripiti, bathed by the superb Libyan Sea that day was all for us, we only had company at the small tavern among the tamarisks where we had lunch with the locals enjoying dishes that are typical to say the least.

🇮🇹 A spasso per Creta oggi vi portiamo lungo strade sterrate e panorami selvaggi attraverso le montagne di Asterousia fino alla costa sud.

Attenzione! Questo percorso è da affrontare solo con mezzi adeguati, meglio se accompagnati da qualcuno che conosce il percorso.

Percorrere queste strade è stato un pensiero che mi ha accompagnato per parecchio tempo, devo ringraziare una nostra amica per averci accompagnato fin quaggiù, permettendomi di realizzare questo sogno!

La discesa verso il canyon di Tripiti è davvero affascinante, passarci attraverso è quasi inverosimile, quello che si presenta poi una volta superato questo budello ha dell'incredibile.

La magnifica spiaggia di Tripiti, bagnata dal superbo mar Libico quel giorno è stata tutta per noi, abbiamo avuto compagnia solo presso la piccola taverna tra le tamerici dove abbiamo pranzato con i locali gustando piatti che tipici è dir poco.
