There were no clues on who actually did it until the reveal. It’s terrible writing when it comes to mystery as there’s no actual tips or hints that clues in on who the traitor in. The mechanism that keeps them trapped is only half explained and the falsification of its activation isn’t said until the reveal.
Maybe I’m just picky, but mystery novels should be a puzzle you solve. Not a haha gotcha moment because all the cards are hidden until the very last scene
