I’m in Seattle and was one of the lucky few whose power stayed on. I think part of it is because I’m at a college campus that gets most of its power from below ground cables. But we did have some windows randomly opening and shutting in one of our emergency exit staircases which reverberated throughout the staircase. The stairs were used to get up to our rooms at the time because one of our elevators somehow glitched out that day and stopped in between floors with 2 people on it. The fire department had to come to get them out. Luckily it’s been fixed, but our lights were flickering from the wind so I wonder if the elevator was affected by a power surge or something and that caused it to stop randomly.

lost power from September the 27th at 7am and was not restored until October the 3rd at 9 pm would been back on on the 30th but when the a tree fell in one of our neighbors back yard it damaged there underground power line and blew out the transformer so half of my neighbors had power while other half of my neighbors did not have power we did not have a generator
