🇰🇷 Side quest: See Namsan from the Itaewon Class bridge.🫡🫡

Here’s everything I did and spent as a vegetarian 🌱 in Seoul, South Korea while we’re at it.
After not seeing the view of Namsan Tower from the Noksapyeong Overpass 🙈 in the morning ☀️ I went for breakfast.

I got an egg 🍳 and mayo sandwich 🥪 from Hollys because sometimes, when travelling as a vegetarian in Seoul, 🌱 you’re just grateful there’s an option on the menu (even when it’s not ideal for you).

I got a lot of questions asking what kind of vegetarian I am: lacto-ovo vegetarian 🤔 (basically: I eat eggs and dairy but no meat).

When it started to rain ☔️ a solo traveller friend and I took cover in a photo booth 📷 and got pictures to mark the moment.

For lunch, we headed to Plant Cafe: A vegan restaurant in Itaewon that serves incredible Western food and vegan cake. 🍰

I ordered the Sesame Peanut 🥜 Soba 🍜 Bowl for 💸 ₩14,000 | £8.58 | $10.73 | R196 (highly recommended!!) and a passion fruit raspberry lemonade 🧃 for 💸 ₩7,500 | £4.59 | $5.57 | R105.

To round off the day, we headed back to the bridge and I was so happy the clouds had melted away ☁️ leaving a beautiful view of Namsan Tower (featured in the Itaewon Class KDrama and a bunch of others like Little Women, Run On and Record of Youth).
