If Activision has no new employees with even a shred of creativity in their bones, the game will flop....AGAIN. The only way this franchise is still breathing is through micro-transactions and contracting with legit EVERY OTHER FRANCHISE that ISNT COD. Celebs, Movies and TV characters, and now even other video game characters. They have no leg to stand on so they strike deals through paying other companies for licensed skins. "Put our content in your game, and we'll get the word out to all the naive saps out there that are still wondering if they should buy the game." COD died a long time ago....

And from a marketing standpoint, making it easier to acquire the game from game pass- which is a paid monthly subscription- the people who gain it from there are more likely to spend money on microtransactions.
