Saad Ibn Abi Waqas | Companions of the Prophet | Episode 13


Welcome to Episode 13 of our series on the Companions of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). Today, we explore the incredible life of Saad Ibn Abi Waqas (Razi Allah Tala Anhu), a remarkable companion of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

Saad (Razi Allah Tala Anhu) accepted Islam at the young age of 17, making him one of the first Muslims. His unwavering faith and love for Allah shone brightly when he stood firm in his beliefs, even when faced with opposition from his own mother. Saad’s story teaches us that love and obedience to Allah should always come first.

Known for his exceptional bravery, Saad (Razi Allah Tala Anhu) was the first to defend Islam by shooting an arrow in battle. He played a crucial role in several important battles, such as the Battle of Badr and the Battle of Uhud. Later, his leadership and military expertise led to the historic victory in the Battle of Qadisiyyah, helping spread Islam to Persia and beyond.

Despite his immense success, Saad remained humble and always expressed gratitude to Allah, saying, "I am just a servant of Allah. Everything I have is from Him."
