Day 36 of one boating tip a day !

We’re on a small boat, I can hear if someone farts in the stern cabin, dragging anchor is a pretty solid noise and vibration.
Leave a hatch open, sleep in the cabin next to the anchor, and if you test your anchor in reverse and dig it deeper in the sand, you can be sure it’s gonna require some strong wind to make you drag, and strong wind you can easily hear if you’re somehow connected to your environment and not completely wrecked. If I suspect I’m gonna drag and conditions seems to get worse I drink a lot of water, yes yes its a technique I use to sleep more lightly and wake up from any noise, go pee, drink more water and stay connected to the boat, sleeping outside in the stars also might be a good option, I never really liked the apps and anchor alarms, they never worked well for me but maybe I just didn’t bump into a good one.
