Always grab a partner while doing loaded barbell squats. Always go light at first till you master the form.

Instructions:
1) Set the barbell across your shoulder/scapula area.
2) thumbs on top to secure grip.
3) As you begin to lower down, focus on pushing your thighs to go parallel. Make sure to control the movement. No bouncing or pushing.
4) Aim for 6-8 reps
5) focus on breathing. inhale as you go down. Exhale as you go up

#1 bar goes a lot lower- you're talking more like 4" lower, on your back not your shoulders
#2 secure your grip before you unrack, thumbs come all the way around the bar so your wrists stay straight and narrow your grip as tight as you can get it, try to get your hands almost shoulder width on the bar – IT’S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE COMFORTABLE IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE TIGHT
#3 take two strong steps out of the rack, all that shuffling around is wasted energy (TWO STEPS, DEEP BREATH, SQUEEZE YOUR ABS
#4 THE BIG ONE! Look down. That chest up stuff is killing your hip drive, look down, butt back, knees out and drive UP with your hips
