#shorts
A common problem on the peugeot 206, 207, some Citroen models and other makes and models of car (that use wiper arm inserts made of aluminium) is electrolytic corrosion can cause the wiper arm to seize onto the motor spindle or - what usually happens is it splits the plastic arm and you end up with a floppy rear wiper.
In this scenario you need to carefully cut off the aluminium collar from the spindle so the new wiper arm will fit. Because the spindle is surrounded by the glass screen, you must be very careful not to force anything that could stress and break the glass.
Use a Dremel type tool or a small hacksaw to remove bits of the stuck on insert from the old wiper.
If you use a Dremel type power tool, cover the screen with cardboard to prevent sparks from damaging the glass. Wear eye protection.
DONT damage the wiper motor spindle or thread.
Once the old insert is removed, the new wiper arm can be fitted.
