When we eat tempe we eat the white moldy stuff. Same with brie, rind and cheese are eaten as a whole.

Yeah the flavor isn't the same if you eat the rind ... the flavor tastes like shit with the rind. Only eat the rind if you love a horrible taste in your mouth
