Hoss was a BEAST!
Al LOVED Hostetler because he could run, and throw, as well as any other QB of his time, but also because Hoss was a winner! Al loved winners, champions, gritty men with guts and determination. Hoss was all that! He was fun to watch, and he controlled the offense like a general, PRE-GANNON style!

It slips my mind that my mind that Hostetler had his best (aside from the Super Bowl year w/Giants) years with the Raiders. He was a typical Raiders qb to big arm, could run some, & as tough as they come. Jett could fly in his day to.
