I am glad there are countermeasures in place, as it shows clearly that there is SOME form of "dialogue" in progress, but be alarmed at this thought of mine, given that we know nothing about how severe the consequences are.
I would as well like to comment that as long as there are no true alternatives offering themselves to the natives by the global economy, the impact of a handful of loggers will never match the enormous systemic production of CO2 and methane.
And the efforts to reforest mangroves are still in need of way more support than is given currently.
