I lost 25 lbs eating BBBE (carnivore) with lots of butter. Then, I turned around and gained it all back because I cut down on the butter. I’m in my third week of eating a higher fat diet and have already lost 8 lbs.

It can raise glucose, yeah. Ive noticed, as a type 2, too much meat raises my glucose even withoit carbs. Fats work better for me.

you look so radiant and healthy so keep at it!! I feel better with what you are describing. Appetite is more stable..I never feel like snacking if I get enough fat and I try to limit meals to two times and purpose to not eat after sunset.

Too much fat - vs too much protein - vs too many carbs - fruit and honey is bad - this or that is wrong - only A B C is the correct way to consume XYZ....
* screw it*
I say we all have to do what works for US. We are all on a journey, and whether we are heading down the right or wrong road, it's our own destination. Just do you. If it works, Hell Yeah! & If it doesn't, well- you can always adjust when you need to. ❤ Love your channel ❤

I think that for a lot of us especially women, we need higher fat. After menopause I began having panic attacks at night time. It's all due to the cortisol which steals from sex hormones. So I'm going to try to get back into carnivore after a stressful situation caused my digestion to be horrible. I've had to work with the doctor to get it back online again. But I definitely have to up that fat because there's no way I could do a lower fat carnivore and not get that cortisol up. When I didn't have enough fat before those panic attacks started coming back full force as it was very stressful for me.

I just got back on keto, and I can't believe how much I've missed eating all that fat. Eating fats just makes a huge difference in skin quality. No more adult ance or depression for me. The body needs dietary cholesterol to regulate hormones. Everyone can benefit from this.❤

Nice, I dropped all dairy to change it up I'm only maintaining my weight loss. Today is my 3rd day on sardines lost 5 lbs. Ketones are 1.9 this afternoon, yay. Debating to add butter for fat little scared. 😢

I've don't the same. Dr boz advice. Eating high protein I gained weight. Eating twice as much fat as protein and starting earlier, last meal 3-4pm. My ketones are high, glucose very low.

I’ve read in Dr. Boz’ book that in order to lose weight, you take your DESIRED weight in kg and that is your MAX protein in grams for the day. It has worked for me 👍
