ā€œI bet David stats wasnā€™t that good in the Bible but heā€™s Davidā€ thatā€™s the realest, most motivational thing Iā€™ve ever heard šŸ˜‚

You can't tell the story of the NFL without Eli Manning.

It was Eliā€™s late 4th quarter throw to Mario Manningham in the 2nd Super Bowl against the Patriots that was God-tier. Greatest throw in NFL history, given the ball placement, backed up in his own territory, and what was at stake

If Broadway Joe got in for one monster upset Eli is definitely getting in with two monster upsets.

He won 2 super bowls with late 4th quarter TDs. Also 2 iconic throws, helmet catch, and the crazy bomb to mario manningham that flipped the field . I'm a giants fan, and I'll admit he was the 3rd best qb in his draft class. He was never elite outside the final 2 minutes of a game. He has the career length, enough stats to justify, and 2 iconic super bowl wins. Pretty sure he gets a jacket.

Eli ranks 11th all-time passing yards 10th all time touchdowns plus all the road playoff victories to get to two Super Bowls that he was MVP of heā€™s a Hall of Famer šŸ»

Hands down one of the most memorable moments in all of sports for me. That Super Bowl had so many storylines and drama. People have many reasons why they love the Super Bowl; the game, f&f, food, commercials, etc. I cannot recall at this moment another time when the majority of people were invested enough to watch and wanted to see a certain outcome. While the play was amazing, and who am I to take anything away from Eli Manning fighting to find time for his receivers to make something happen. David Tyree on the biggest stage when the lights were brightest, hanging on to that ball like it was a damn tumor, and even if he wanted to, that ball found home.

All that being said, the Giants defensive line won that game. Tom Brady felt the footsteps and didnā€™t want to stay in that pocket not a moment longer than he needed to. Osi became a household name that day. I wouldnā€™t be surprised if Tom Brady has an AirTag on him at all times just to keep tabs.

One of the few quotes I love from Skip from the Undisputed days.

If you have to ask yourself do they belong in the hall of fame. They donā€™t belong in the hall of fame.

If Eli is in hall of fame for ā€œmomentsā€ you HAVE to put Jules in. Double pass, Concussed YAC after Kam hit, ā€œI caught itā€ against the Falcons. Give this guy a gold jacket my dude

Eli was okay in SB42. The Giants' four man rush is what won that game. The only shot you had at beating Brady was having an effective four man rush to flush him out of the pocket and the Giants did that. The Giants almost beat them in the regular season that same year for the same reason. Eli in SB46 was what won them that SB, he was the best player in that game. HOF worthy, no doubt.

That helmet catch will haunt my dreams for my entire life, my final word will probably be me screaming Eli a la Khan šŸ˜‚

Eli did it TWICE. & he was the MVP in both games. Also, donā€™t ignore the playoff runs it took to get to both games

When David Tyree caught that ball, I knew it was over. Sat there like everyone in disbelief. But had a few Giants fans in the room and they went crazy.

Rivers is a hofer as well imo. People got way too lucky to see all these great qbs play during the same time now they wanna gatekeep the hof because he wasn't quite as good as the top 5 guys around at the time but hes still a top 20 qb to ever play. If rivers played in any other era and put up those stats he would be a lock for the hall, same goes for guys like Matt Ryan. 64,000 and 420 tds, 8 pro bowls and a comeback poy. Theres really not a conversation to be had

This is why Eli gets in. 11th in yards all time. 10th in TDs all time. 3rd longest streak of games played without injury at 210. Took 2 Wild card teams to the Super Bowl, 2 Super Bowl Victories One against possibly the greatest teams ever. Both Super Bowl victories against the Goat. 2 Super Bowl MVPs. People have said it was the Defense but they confuse the 2011 team with the 2007 team, when Strahan was 1 foot out the door at 36 and Osi was the better of the two but wasnā€™t a dominant player. They had good solid players on defense but it was Eliā€™s play that took them to the Superbowl through both of those years. He was never a top 10 QB during the regular season but itā€™s hard to not say, he didnā€™t play better in the playoffs then every single QB during the two Super Bowl years.
