Good tips. Jim Lee has said its not important to know every detail of anatomy, but as long as you know the general shape of the muscles, and what their forms are when flexed and when relaxed. Anatomy details can come later.

It's so true, there are so many muscles and bones. I'm completely overwhelmed when trying to memorize all the parts of the body but it's easier to recognize and draw the shapes, the rest will eventually come with practice.

Just a personal opinion if anyone would like to take inspiration. I don’t use cylinders for arms or legs but rather the general shapes of the muscles or tendons. It makes it easier to draw and it looks better depending on your art style.

The thing no one told me is you don't go FROM boxes to anatomy, you just jump straight into anatomy once you understand boxes, it's just a tool for spatial placement, but the final thing you draw is anatomy, learn how to place muscles, where it connects to bones, their proportion etc..
It's like the tiny wheels on a bicycle, boxes are there as a SUPPORT role, not a necessary step to go through every single time to get to the point
