We should thank the Crablante because he triggered Saitama's childhood desire to become a hero who can end villains in one punch

More interesting question is what would've happened if Saitama killed Crablante, BUT died from his wounds only moments afterwards?
The Hero Association would still appear since the big chin kid is still alive.
Vaccine Man and Beefcake continue their rampage until top tier S class heroes show up and kill them.
King would remain as an ordinary civilian running away in fear.
Genos never joins the Hero Association because he sacrificed himself to kill Mosquito Girl
The House of Evolution isn't destroyed, and Genus continues his work until the Hero association discovers him and kills all of his monsters, including Kabuto.
Sonic kills Hammer Head and would remain as a bodyguard to the guy with the golden crap hair.
The Meteor kills Bang and destroys Z-city.
Deep Sea King shows up and since there is no Genos or Sonic to slow him down, He kills Numen Rider and all the civilians in the shelter and then continues his rampage until a stronger s class hero comes and kills him.
The Dark matter thieves show up and Melzergard fights Kamikaze, Bad and Puri Puri Prisioner. Because there is no Saitama destroying the ship, Groribas, Gyruganshoop and the rest of the Dark Matter warriors leave the ship to help Melzergard. Forcing the rest of the S class heroes to jump in to help kamikaze, Bad and Puri Puri Prisioner.
The S class heroes kill all of the Dark Matter warriors, but then Boros shows up and annihilates all of them. Following that, Boros than destroys city after city, until Blast shows up and kills him and then goes back to dealing with God.
Pluton arrives and continues his rampage until Bofoi unleashes all his Metal Knights to kill him.
The Monster Association and Garou attack earth and Only Blast, Bofoi, Bomb, Apollo, Amai Mask, Sonic, Suiryu and Fubuki are the last strong humans remaining to protect humanity from both Garou and the Monster Association.

I mean the hero association may still be made to help awareness considering if he died the father would not want anyone else to go through that pain, cause it was made since his son was saved by a brave young man (Saitama)
