Turning 69 and gearing up for an incredible journey! Can't believe it's finally happening – sailing across the Pacific this month! I won't be alone ; I'll be joining dear friends on their inaugural voyage to Japan aboard a sturdy boat slightly smaller than mine. Stay tuned for more updates and get to know this amazing couple. Congrats! That first ocean crossing in a sailboat is definitely worth it. Make sure to bring stuff to keep yourself entertained and be able to cope with your emotions. Nobody expects it, but you get very bored doing an ocean crossing. Fair winds and following seas, sailor!
