Is like my 4th cdrama, I am not taking sides as I don’t consider myself a fan yet and it’s my first time watching both actors. Don’t want trouble or disrespect anybody here. It’s only my humble opinion…
I do think that he is a much better actor than her. Didn’t felt the chemistry between them at all. Is not her character, is her lack of emotions when trying to express what was happening in a scene. It was always awkward and stiff, he looked more natural. Not sure about the level of experience they have as actors but there was something lacking from their connection.

that’s why this drama sucks at the love story .. up to now there’s been little indication they actually did consummate.. there’s been very little kiss scenes only interrupted ones and not enough real affection from the FL ..i wanted to feel they really loved each other but i only got that from the ML and not the FL

Li Yunrui is such a darling. Its my first time seeing him. I've always loved Meng Ziyi.
The onscreen flirting and longing looks are beautifully done. But I feel, li yunrui really do carry those intimate scenes... He is such a gem.
I won't be surprised if this onsreen chemistry overflows to real life. Also I wish them to be paired together again.
