In this Woggle Guide we’ll look at how to turn on Incognito mode on the Chrome browser on Android, to browse the internet privately.

Welcome to Woggle Guides.
In this guide we’ll look at how to turn on private browsing in the Chrome app on your Android phone.

We’ll start by opening the Chrome app.

Tap the 3 dots on right hand side to open the Options menu

From this menu, choose the New Incognito Tab option

Chrome now confirms that you have gone incognito

Whilst searching the internet in Incognito mode,
any sites you visit won’t be tracked or any information you enter into a website will not be saved.

Remember though,
Your browsing activity will still be visible to those websites you visit and if you are searching on a school or work network, then that may also track any searches you make.

To close the Incognito browser just tap on the centre circle HOME button

And if we bring down the pull down from the top of the phone, we can then just tap the Notification bar to end the private browsing session in Chrome.
