It's simpler than that. We know he died after FNAF 1 because the animatronics are still functional in FNAF 1. He tore them apart in the FNAF 3 minigames.

Please make a timeline of everything that happened across all the games! It would make things so much easier and cleaner to understand!

Also; in Silver Eyes, it’s shown that he gets KILLED by the springs in 1995, but he was springlocked beforehand

"The previously mentioned safe rooms are being sealed at most locations."

The safe rooms are only being sealed permanently in most locations.
Nothing says that the FNaF 1 location's safe room was one of the sealed ones.

The Bobbiedots and Tiger Rock have no rights to have a cover this hard.

I feel like the most likely year William got springlocked was in 1995, since that’s when it happened in the books.

It was 1993 when it happened, at least a week (OR A YEAR AFTER 1992 IDK) after Mike was fired, and Freddy's closed, William springlocked and died for 30 years.

I got the notification for this literally the second after watching a "michael don't leave me here" meme lol

I just think Follow Me has to happen after FNAF 1 because if he dismantled the animatronics did they get remade or something? With the sealed safe room, I believe Follow Me is a narrative parallel to the MCI, except the spirits take revenge the 2nd time. So I think the sealing of the safe rooms in after the MCI, shows that the safe rooms were sealed after William was springtrapped, somehow.

Okay, I think I’m partially convinced. though the false door in the epilogues is implied to be pizza sim location, not MCI/fnaf 1 location or fredbears diner, I don’t see why they’d put that in the epilogue if it /wasnt/ to hint at the sealed safe rooms. Something’s still off about it tho, plus I HATE using books timeline as evidence and prefer game timeline evidence

I still believe he dies right before fnaf 3 because how'd the employees just be like "oh yes, wall means door" and they find rotten SpringiBoi? Besides that, William has visible flesh and it's impossible that he gets springlocked and the suit just magically breaks, it was broken before the springlock failure, not to mention that the FNaF 1 location was still on foot with animatronics on-stage years later as shown in "The New Kid", therefore William couldn't die in 1990.

a theorist also just make their second video, discussing the possibility that Springtrap was in the saferoom the whole time we play FNAF 1. Using evidence from The Week Before, i am torn bcuz i like the story either way, but i think it's worth giving a watch and checking his other video as well
Mahogany
Springtrap Was SECRETLY There The
Whole Time

He could have also sealed the door himself to try to keep the ghosts out but they phased through it anyway if that’s possible idk

i alr knew about this part of lore, since i knew the layout of fnaf 1 and compared it to the minigame. they seemed to be similar.

The only thing that 🐛s me is why the safe rooms got sealed in the tapes. Maybe because of Afton using SpringBonnie during the MCI? But then how did it get resealed? I still think Scott intended it to happen after FNaF 1, but this is the only issue with that idea.

Also, despite what Tales From The Pizzaplex says, Phone Dude says one of his colleagues found the safe room boarded up, so it's interpretation of it isn't exactly accurate (to be fair, he does say "or something" when mentioning it, perhaps he assumed it was. You wouldn't expect it to be a one-way door with a pressure latch)

Finally evidence from the books that doesn’t suck and actually makes a bit of sense, since I highly doubt they would seal it when the pizzeria is in the state we see in the minigame since it just looks abandoned at that moment.

If Springbonnie is still in the FNAF 1 location did he use Fredbear to lure the DCI kids in 1987 FNAF 2 location?

in the fnaf movie universe, William is springlocked around April 6-10th 2000 :}
