I own both a VF8 + and a 2023 Tesla model Y performance. This guy is full of crap as to his opinions. The Vinfast has a very normal and comfortable ride quality period.

VF8 does drive like a boat or bumper car. VF9 drives much smoother and nicer.

I actually looked into this as they are starting to stand up dealers in Texas. The problem is, they're really only up and running in the DFW area and I live in the Austin metro. Supposedly they are coming in the Austin area but not landed yet. With some of the software issues I have seen from other content creators on YouTube - particularly Out Of Spec as they have leased a VF8 - I am not so comfortable going for the lease until I have local support from a local dealer. But all that said I would consider leasing one once the dealer is open here.
The local VW dealer is also offering a $249/mo lease on an ID.4 Standard, but that does not come with leather or adaptive cruise, not to mention the heads up display that is standard on the VF8. The ID.4 Standard also has a small 62kwh battery and an EPA rating of 206 miles. The VF8 has gone 240-270 in real world testing depending on who's done the testing.
