There are people who are praising this movie just because it feels like it has more substance than a usual CBM. Someone literally said “I’ll take this over the cash grab stuff we usually get.”
This movie is the literal definition of a cash grab. Todd and Joaquin both were very clear they never wanted to do a sequel and it was a one time thing. But because the movie made so much money they got offered a ridiculous amount of money and rightfully took it. But it’s very obvious on screen that they didn’t come back because of some great idea.
It feels like Todd Phillips heard Joker has a girlfriend named Harley Quinn, didn’t do any research, thought of a few decent crazy love scenes and then decided to stretch everything out with songs that all blend together because it’s the same 2 people singing the same sounding songs the entire time. They perform the songs well but they all bleed together.

I never care what humans think of a movie. No matter what, i always form my own opinion. Most of the time, humans don't know anything about these comic book characters anyway. I'm excited to check it out, and hopefully, i enjoy what the movie offers.
