I had the same happen from the steri strips the welts hurt so bad i went to urgent care and made them take it off. Bilateral Tkr. Best of luck in your healing journey.

I had this and it was even worse. Mine was completely blistered where hers is red and they were weeping blisters. I was allergic to mastesol, the adhesive they used after surgery. I had to get steroids to finally clear it up. It also spread on other parts of my body.

I had that happen after a spinal fusion. It also blistered and bled. Now it happens when adhesives are on my skin for more than about an hour, even paper tape etc.

Yeah it itches so bad I put castor oil on it I first rubbed with a achol wipe then put castor oil on it and it stopped the itching

I'm allergic to plasters (Band-Aid) and that kind of adhesive: patches etc. Perhaps this lady is. That puckering looks awful.

I had a partial knee replacement two months ago, and I can barely see the scar. Never had any redness. They didn’t use stitches, Steri-Strips or staples. They used glue, which makes a perfect little seam which you can barely see.
