You spend all this time to take good maxillary and mandibular impressions and then take a facebow. You mount your casts and wipe the sweat off of your brows just to have an inaccurate articulation of the casts due to blebs. This results in casts/occlusion that is now ‘open’. Resulting in a restoration that will be ‘high’. You really don’t want this kind of high! Take the tiny extra step and remove the blebs and you’ll have more predictable outcomes.
