The gospels are heavily anti-Semitic of course as is Acts of Paul, AKA Acts of the Apostles.

Do you guys realize Jesus, HIS apostles were all Jews?
….and that St. Paul was a Pharisee?
Are you stating that Jews criticizing Jews is anti-Semitic?

Ultimately god killed him, no? If it weren’t for Judas, if it weren’t for the Roman soldiers, if it weren’t for Pilate..god’s ultimate plan would have gone unfulfilled right? Because that’s the only way your loving, all good god could make it so everybody could be forgiven was a brutal, bloody human sacrifice? So why should anybody argue about who killed him? Whoever did, was only fulfilling their god given purpose in their lives, right? Bc this was somehow the only system god could establish to forgive terrible sin (which he also must have conceived of, created, invented if he made everything)… shouldn’t yall be happy whoever killed him did so? 🤔

Go read 1Thessalonians 2:14 & 15 and it reads: “For you brothers, became imitators of the congregations of God in Union with Christ Jesus that are in Judea, because you suffered at the hands of your own countrymen the same things that they also are suffering at the hands of the JEWS, (15) who even KILLED the Lord Jesus and the prophets and persecuted us. Furthermore, they are not pleasing God, but are against the interests of ALL MEN.

I'm 50yo and grew up in a Southern Baptist church. I knew there was anti-semitic stuff in the Christian Bible before i was a teen. Some folks have some mighty powerful blinders.

The Scapegoat!
Matthew 27:15-26
Jesus Barabbas, the scapegoat, is released living, and Jesus the Messiah, the immolated goat, is put to death. Scapegoat was the name given to the goat that “escaped” into the wilderness, never to return, with the blood, or sins, of the people on him. The scapegoat symbolized that through the Atonement all of Israel's sins could be forgiven, never to return.
Barabbas (which means son of the father in Aramaic) who was guilty (burdened with sin) was released while Jesus (also the Son of the Father) who was innocent of Sin was presented by the High Priest and was sacrificed by the Romans through crucifixion.
Matthew 27:16 At that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was Jesus Barabbas. 17 So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?”

The entire thing shouldn't matter, because Jesus's death was already planned by God himself. Remember?😂

Jesus was a jew. He wasn't killed by jewish people! He was killed by religion. We're to be keepers of the commandments and repent, when we fall short, nobody is better than anybody. We are all created equal just in different identities. It's not about what we do it's about what Jesus did for us. Shalom beloveds!

I believe I have a higher power out there that helps me and cares about me but I cannot believe there is a supreme being that creates all and knows all and is everywhere. Please don’t have a problem with my atheism about this.

Matthew 5:17-18, Jesus said "Don't misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the Law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose." He appeared as the Messiah, but was interpreted as a blasphemer by the religious leaders of the day and they plotted to kill Him. This proved His point of overturning the religious laws and He predicted He would be plotted against and killed by the Romans (Mark 10:33)

The Romans killed Christ under the edict of Herod the Jewish King. Go figure.

For someone to not actually see who was responsible for killing Christ? It just so happened to be Hebrew leadership of the time. But, it is all of us. First of all, He was the sacrifice for our sin. But, for every person who holds someone else to a standard that they themselves cannot maintain, THEY killed Christ. Only ignorance can use the Bible to condemn a group of people. It was never to be a Book of division. "For the greatest of these, is love."

"Have you read it?" Lately added too, to not be offensive to her professor, probably.

But that's the problem, people so adamant about this 'religion', after allowing themselves to be spoonfed it, and told it's 'good' when after you do read it, it can't be, but it's obviously bad insted!

That's why it's 'inverted' and esoteric too!!

What did JKF say about "secret oaths and societies"?

It's closer to a viper -- turning into one -- than a true spiritual belief and therefore dangerous to everyone!

Nunbers is a good book to read and explains why the Romans and local authorities had to do something, which, for back then, was just eliminating them all!

Thanks!

1. The people who use the NT as a means of anti-semitism are unaware of so many coincidences from the OT.
Ex: why would Matthew not include Sarah and/or Rebecca in his Savior’s lineage? Was not Isaac born of faith not unlike Jesus?
Ex 2: Why do the temptations of Jesus Christ reflect Genesis 3,6, & 11?
Ex 3: Why did Moses and Elijah show up in the transfiguration?
You won’t find any answers for these questions outside the OT.
