Welcome to Woggle Guides.
In this guide, we’ll look at how to delete Gmail search history on an Android phone.

Whenever you search for a phrase in the Gmail search bar, a history of the search is stored by Gmail
And from time to time, it makes sense to clear that history out

This is really easy to do but can be a bit hard to find.

To get to the clear history option -
Tap on the hamburger icon (3 line) icon in the top right to open the left hand menu
Then scroll down to the bottom of the menu and choose the Settings icon
Next, we choose the General Settings option, to open the detailed settings menu
And if we click on the 3 dots icon on the right side of this page, the clear search history option can be found here.
When we tap into that, Gmail asks you to confirm you want to clear the search history.

Remember, if you proceed all your search history will be deleted and this action can’t be undone.

If you’re sure you want to proceed, click Clear to delete your search history.
