It would be sick if you machined those components and had clear acrylic side plates on the receiver. Probably would get dirty really quick from blowback but it would be nice to see what's going on in there all the time.

Man this is interesting, the more I watch it, are you planning to mount the magazine on top in the horizontal plane similar to a P90, and then have extractor pawls on the top of the bolt to strip the round from the Mag? Kinda like a M240B/Boberg baby? And is this going to eject downward like the P90?
