creating a quality rest and recharge checklist 🍵🌿

the tricky part about getting fully recharged is that even in our brain’s resting state, when we’re not directly focused on a task, it’s still processing the problem, looking for possible answers and new information. resting is actually hard! 

so the goals is to learn how to rest ‘properly’. here is my basic rest checklist for a good starting point:


🌱 walking and staying physically active. and while doing it, trying to stay present and focus on the process instead of thinking about work. 

🌱 sleeping for the number of hours YOU need. it might be 6, it might be 10 - find your own perfect balance.

🌱 creating morning and night routines: routines allow to stay present and switch off once again from daily troubles.

🌅my slow morning routine: gratitude journaling and lymphatic drainage massage

🌃evening routine: stretching, reading, meditation

🌱 scheduling time for rest throughout the day: this helps to avoid skipping breaks

what would you add to the list? ☺️

and always remember, there’s no shame in taking a break.

by prioritising rest, you’re prioritising your goals, dreams, job and yourself. when you’re well-rested you show up with a sharper mind, better focus and more energy.
