Thankfully they’ve learned! It’s not a full lip, usually they are only using it highlights the inner lip (makes your lips look big with a slightly darker liner)

I’m a young, hip 55 y/o girl.
For 2 years in the early 80s i carried around a tube of concealer, a brown maybelline eyebrow pencil and a lighter in my pocket.
I wore concealer on my lips & the brow pencil was lightly melted to apply to the eyes easier. Oh, and “Sun-In” to lighten our hair. Many of us girls did that ☀️🌸
