You should leave Twitch and come to YouTube.

Twitch streamers have wanted a higher subscription revenue split for years now, and Twitch recently came out and basically…”NAH!”

So Twitch streamers everywhere are pretty upset and I see A LOT of people now looking at YouTube.

So here’s why you should come to YouTube:

1. YouTube offers a 70/30 split for memberships, you receive 70% of all memberships. Always.
2. In 2023, YouTube will introduce a new tier of the partner program that has lower requirements. So you won’t need 1,000 subscribers just to get memberships on your channel.
3. You can set your own membership tiers and pricing. I have a 99 cent tier on my channel which basically gives you everything the $5 tier on Twitch gives you.
4. YouTube has incredible discoverability. Your streams will get recommended on the sidebar and you’ll get more new viewers in your stream than ever before. At least that’s been my experience.
5. You can do member-only streams. Maybe one of your tiers offers an exclusive stream once per month for your members, this feature is perfect for that.
