One of my favourite scenes in STC. The note of desperation that Sonic would embrace his psychotic alter ego form as the only way to beat Metallix and stop Robotnik getting the Master Emerald. This is why STC's interpretation of Super Sonic is so clever in creating a moral dilemma, as opposed to the Japanese continuity's "well the reason Sonic doesn't just go Super Sonic all the time if he has the emeralds is um lol reasons"
