The guy on the bottom was correct. The bible DOES NOT SAY 'God doesn't give you more than you can handle'. It says God will not let you be tempted beyond what you can handle. 1 Corinthians 10:13: No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

The Scripture is about temptation, not suffering. He really should know the verse. "God is faithful; he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able" 1Corinthians 10:13
