The debuff also spread to random NPCs that couldn't die or had incredibly high regen abilities and people would get the disease every time they'd get near the NPCs.
Players created quarantine zones and they had to try and keep certain areas clean to help low-level players, there were even people that would ON PURPOSE try and spread the debuff, so there were high-levels that would hang out at quarantine zones to kill the people trying to deliberately deliver debuffs into the quarantine zones.
