That is if people are fine with watching fake people talk with emotionless voices 24/7

Dead internet theory is real.

Personality still matters. Unless A.I. can produce a likeable character with actual personality, people will gravitate back to creator content.

People will become hopefully more picky with what kind of content they consume, once they realise what's not real. I don't know about anyone else but I hate fake shit, and real person & real facts takes priority for me.

That's why we'll have a return to quality over quantity.

I personally think this will cause a divide. The lazy ones will use this method to pump content like there is no tomorrow, while the normal actual creators will stick to their guns and will gain more followers since they don't use AI. It can go in so many ways UNLESS someone finally makes a legislation so that any content made with more than 50% AI is no longer monetazable. Please someone do this you will literally be saving the future.

Except who wants to watch some half baked, regurgitated video. You can tell literally no effort was put into it even in just that 5 second clip. Content creation at the end of the day is art. Take the art out and there is no point in even interacting with it.

The thing is this, I doubt that would happen without serious backlash and it can either die down or they'll set rules on how a.i can be implemented in the YouTube system, posting 100+ tiktoks or 20 YouTube videos a day will not compensate for that realism that is attached to the creators, at least for now, it'll be a serious change yes but bad most likely

Competition... For the better or for the worse...

AI generated videos - using whatever program - should have some sort of invisible watermark or file designation that identifies it as being made with AI, then platforms like Youtube should have their upload system be able to verify if AI was used or not so people can’t try to pretend they don’t use AI

Content creation won't go away, as much as I cannot stand some creators it will become extra special.

The YouTube algorithm is built to represent the desire of the audience. People despise repetition, they desire new content. AI content, although revolutionary— can get stale at times. If users stop reciprocating with AI content (which I can almost certainly guarantee that it will), AI tubers will die out.

Say YouTube gets consumed by AI, the platform itself can adjust and suppress the influence of AI altered content. I mean, they're already doing that right now! Until programmers figure out and develop AGI technology, content creators don't have to worry about YouTube being overrun by AI

They also steal from real creators and try to copy strike them on their own content.

But a good content is good content. It’s not what I learn that drags me so. It’s how I learn that brings me wisdom.

I disagree on this one. If by content creators you mean people recording videos in front of their desk then MAYBE. If by content creators you mean people recording videos outside of their desk with other people then NO

People would be bored of watching ai and would want anything original, whatever happened to the good old days where content was original and harmless?

Well there isn't "competition" in social media creation. One sees what one likes. That's it.

I believe that the over production of content will ultimately burn people out and will scale it back

They've already started, not just in social media but in Hollywood as well. The Disney production of Star Wars the Acolyte for instance. I'm about 90% sure that the entire story was AI generated. I believe that they entered a bunch of source material and it extrapolated the script and story. The show runner herself said that she intentionally hired writers that had never even seen Star Wars before... I believe she said that because AI doesn't have eyes.

Don't even need to hire a video editor anymore. I'm using AI to take one hour long podcasts and cutting it up into 20+ video shorts and its pretty damn accurate.
