I personally think this will cause a divide. The lazy ones will use this method to pump content like there is no tomorrow, while the normal actual creators will stick to their guns and will gain more followers since they don't use AI. It can go in so many ways UNLESS someone finally makes a legislation so that any content made with more than 50% AI is no longer monetazable. Please someone do this you will literally be saving the future.

The thing is this, I doubt that would happen without serious backlash and it can either die down or they'll set rules on how a.i can be implemented in the YouTube system, posting 100+ tiktoks or 20 YouTube videos a day will not compensate for that realism that is attached to the creators, at least for now, it'll be a serious change yes but bad most likely

AI generated videos - using whatever program - should have some sort of invisible watermark or file designation that identifies it as being made with AI, then platforms like Youtube should have their upload system be able to verify if AI was used or not so people can’t try to pretend they don’t use AI

The YouTube algorithm is built to represent the desire of the audience. People despise repetition, they desire new content. AI content, although revolutionary— can get stale at times. If users stop reciprocating with AI content (which I can almost certainly guarantee that it will), AI tubers will die out.
Say YouTube gets consumed by AI, the platform itself can adjust and suppress the influence of AI altered content. I mean, they're already doing that right now! Until programmers figure out and develop AGI technology, content creators don't have to worry about YouTube being overrun by AI

They've already started, not just in social media but in Hollywood as well. The Disney production of Star Wars the Acolyte for instance. I'm about 90% sure that the entire story was AI generated. I believe that they entered a bunch of source material and it extrapolated the script and story. The show runner herself said that she intentionally hired writers that had never even seen Star Wars before... I believe she said that because AI doesn't have eyes.

That is if people are fine with watching fake people talk with emotionless voices 24/7
