As a Muslim revert from Christianity, I was pleasantly surprised to to find verses in the Bible that refer to Jesus as a prophet. Growing up, these verses were never emphasized in Church because we were so blinded by the false idea that Jesus was God. We followed ambiguous verses and glossed over clear, direct ones to satisfy our beliefs. It never made sense to me. Not then, and even worse not now. Alhamdulillah for Islam. Iâm forever grateful that Allah deemed me worthy enough to receive His beautiful guidance. All praise belongs to our Creator. The same Almighty Creator that Jesus worshipped and submitted to. Allah (SWT).

This is my favourite verse in the Quran
O believers! Do not enter the homes of the Prophet without permission Ëšand if invitedËş for a meal, do not Ëšcome too early andËş linger until the meal is ready. But if you are invited, then enter Ëšon timeËş. Once you have eaten, then go on your way, and do not stay for casual talk. Such behaviour is truly annoying to the Prophet, yet he is too shy to ask you to leave. But Allah is never shy of the truth. And when you ËšbelieversËş ask his wives for something, ask them from behind a barrier. This is purer for your hearts and theirs. And it is not right for you to annoy the Messenger of Allah, nor ever marry his wives after him. This would certainly be a major offence in the sight of Allah. << Qur'an 33:53 >>

Injeel in the Quran
Aal-e-Imran 3:3
He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.
â What does confirm mean?
Aal-e-Imran 3:48
And He will teach him writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel
â Does allah teach corrupt scriptures?
Aal-e-Imran 3:65
O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Then will you not reason?
Al-Ma'idah 5:46
And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous.
â Allah gave Jesus the gospel which was before him?
Al-Ma'idah 5:47
And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient.
â Donât follow the gospel and you are disobedient.
Al-Ma'idah 5:66
And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them are a moderate community, but many of them - evil is that which they do.
â So the injeel is corrupt or not?
Al-Ma'idah 5:68
Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord." And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people.
â The Injeel is the standard?
â Ruh-il-Qudus (the Holy Spirit)
Al-Ma'idah 5:110
[The Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Pure Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious magic."
â The Holy Spirit again?!?!
Al-Baqarah 2:87
And We did certainly give Moses the Torah and followed up after him with messengers. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the Pure Spirit. But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you, [O Children of Israel], with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party [of messengers] you denied and another party you killed.
Al-A'raf 7:157
Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them. So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him - it is those who will be the successful.
At-Taubah 9:111
Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.
Al-Fath 48:29
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah ; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration. That is their description in the Torah. And their description in the Gospel is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers - so that Allah may enrage by them the disbelievers. Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward.
Al-Hadid 57:27
Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah . But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.

The Prophet is one of the characteristics of Jesus when He came to this world. Because Jesus said to His disciples, You call Me Teacher and Lord, and rightly so, for that is what I Am (John 13:13).
So Jesus could be a Servant, a Prophet, a Messenger, a Messiah, a Rabbi, a Master, a Friend or a Teacher and AT THE SAME TIME LORD.
So know that the LORD is God (Psalms 100 :3). LORD God Almighty (Isaiah 44 :6).
But the LORD is the true God (Jeremiah 10:10).
Jesus said, I Am the LORD of the Sabbath (Matthew 12 :8 & Luke 6 :5). Only God alone is the Author of the law of the Sabbath that was given to Moses, no other. So why Jesus claimed that He is the LORD of the Sabbath, if He is not God? That is totally a blasphemy towards God and against the commandments of God.
No doubt that Jesus is God, because Jesus is the Word that became Flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14). And this Word that became Flesh is the Word of God Himself. And the Word belongs to God. That is why the Word was God (John 1:1). And the Word (Jesus) has granted to have life in Himself (John 5 :26) through the Holy Spirit of God the Father Most High (Luke 1:35 & Matthew 1:20). And the Holy Spirit is "from the Father Himself" and that comes out "from the Father Himself" (read Psalms 51:11, Luke 11:13, John 15:26, Matthew 1:20 & Luke 1:35). So these names Jesus or Yeshua or Hesus etc. or whatever you call Him name are just a name given to the Word that became Flesh. That is why Jesus said very truly I tell you, surely you would die in your sins if you don't believe that I Am He (John 8:24).
