Google search showed that Mary Walker Died in 1919. her medal was taken away in 1917 (from this video) she was 85 at the time and died around the age of 86. its stupid how people only fully recognize and award to people once they are dead. at least she did have that medal for a while and I'm sure the people who really counted in her life recognized the accomplishment.

An important point is forgotten here, she never gave the medal back, she was asked to give it back after the metal was recognised on an app and she said she did not recognise it and hid the thing and despite her house being turned upside down several times, the medal could not be found again, when she died she was buried with this medal, as was later discovered
