To answer the question, “What do we do with it?” here’s a real story. It was picked by my Grade 10 students as one of their graduation/moving up songs last year and we changed the word “reckless” with “gracious”. During rehearsals, we make sure that they don’t slip their tongue and that they would sing “gracious”instead of “reckless”… and we explained it to them why. I believe, by God’s grace, it went well not just as they sang the song but even as they learned to filter little things like that even in the Christian culture.
