This is a clip from a recent remote coaching session where the student was focused on creating a "one piece" takeaway. This can cause a LOT of sequence issues in the backswing. You have to understand that all of the parts and pieces that make up the backswing in the golf swing are arriving at a similar times but they are of different lengths and are moving at different speeds. You cannot move all of those pieces together and hope to arrive at the same time. What a one piece takeaway can cause is the club to go too far inside and then get stuck causing the playing to lift the club to the top. This particular player needed to get his club moving faster off of the golf ball in order to create a MUCH better shoulder turn and a much better sequence in his golf swing.
