This is so wrong, I’m going through legal immigration trying to get my wife over from the UK. We are paying all kinds of fees & lawyers and she is providing vaccine records and they are giving her and her family background checks, we have to provide photos and relationship statements from friends & family, records showing a two way financial relationship between us and to prove our marriage isn’t fraudulent. I have to prove I can support her for at least 3 years and during this process she cannot even visit me in America so I have to fly to London which is difficult because I’m a disabled vet. And they just let millions upon millions walk in with no vetting and completely dependent on American taxpayers for their very existence. My wife speaks English and has 3 degrees and wants to work & contribute to society the day she gets here but to do that she has to have a green card which is why we are doing it legally instead of her just overstaying her visa and it feels like we are being punished for doing it the right way.

So, When Haiti had the earthquake in 2010 the US army was deployed for humanitarian assistance. I was getting sent to Afghanistan, and my brother drew the short stick with the 82nd airborne GRF and got sent to Haiti. They were eating dogs, among other stuff. They were also unaliving each other at an alarming rate, SA women, and robbing hospitals for drugs, the Us army was told they could do nothing about any of it unless directly attacked. Yes it was very large natural disaster. But that whole country is screwed up.
