Need to be very careful with this clip. Yes, you can initiate first based on the scenario given, but where it stops being self-defense is the moment they are no longer a threat... e.g. if they are on the floor and you hit again, it can be contested... if they start running and you hit, it can be contested...if they say sorry and give up... hitting beyond points like this can end up becoming assault instead of self defence
