I can relate 😂, I had a blue stuffed teddy bear when I was 5 or 6 and I would carry that thing everyone to the point where I never washed it and got super dirty

Literally the same thing happened to me. I was maybe six and we went to the Zoo with my grandma, uncle, aunts, cousins the while gang and when we were about to leave I stopped and started saying "where's my puppy?" "Where's my puppy blanket?"
I was sobbing so hard as my family went running around looking for it because I refused to leave under any circumstances.
Give my puppy or give me death!!!!
I remember my grandma telling me to stop crying and it would be okay. Then I heard my uncle call my name. I looked up to see him holding my stuffy. I grabbed it from his hand and snuggled it so tight as I cried out thank yous.
I had left my puppy on top of the brick wall above the alligators. If someone had come along and bumped it into the pond I would never have left that zoo.😂

That reminds me of this little stuffed purple poodle toy i had. We were at a store and i left it on the shelf and forgot i even brung it. Before we left i remembered it and rushed back in to get it. Then some days later i lose it at the park, distracted by playing with a cricket in the sand.

Sigh, story of every kid. Well, in the case of my daughter, never found. She has ledgendary "lost favorite item" skills.
