Dying light 2 was so bad when it first came out then my brother told me that they changed the hub and took away level requirements so i finally tried it again and it's honestly not bad. It did take me a bit to get used to the stamina

One I complete the quests and done the events on dying light one the games complete. There’s nothing to go back too. Dying light 2 has much more post game content, but for me again once the quests are done I’ll stop playing. What I don’t do is start bitching

Got bored went back realized it wasn’t as fantastic as I remember don’t get me wrong it’s damn good but in terms of just running around the world and movement in dl2 are so much more fun for me. Especially on nightmare because it’s ALMOST about the same parkour as dl1 which yeah it did feel slightly more fluent to me but since this game’s optimization and updates it’s been so fun to go through it again

DL1 is overrated, it's a good game, but the community already burns it so much that it's unbearable. DL2 is not at all and is far from being a bad game, it's just hated because it had a bad start and because it has a gameplay base completely renewed from the first game.
Literally the short is complaining because you have to play, obviously you have to do daily activities, after all it is a game that will be active for 5 years (it's already going for three I think). Complaining about this is absurd, and I think they hate this game just because it's new, DL3 will come out and they'll say the second game was a misunderstood work or some such stupidity.
Man, even the story of the first game is mediocre, it has its moments like the death of Rahim or Jade, or when Crane cuts off Rais's arm but little else, until the end it is so empty that there had to be a dlc to improve that.
It's not a masterpiece, it's not a great game either, it's a decent one and, except for the story, it's a worthy sequel. And obviously you may not like it, but it makes a good case, unlike this short.
