I swear the biggest change this game needs is to the lighting. If this game was to have lighting that actually makes it look like a horror game and be more accurate to what they showed in e3 then this game will sell so much more. Obviously the business move would be to do this change in the next dlc and if they do then I could see myself playing this game for thousands of hours

Environment/background sounds, dynamic weather/wind/lighting, actual fear of night time are some of the reasons DL1 will always be my favorite and more immersive one. Also, the "tropical slum" vibe is way too familiar for me making it even more immersive.

The sun moving was nice, but I never saw bad weather other than in the mission near the end when you climb the radio tower

Yea I miss the dynamic day/night cycle. And despite the filter options for darkness at night itās still too bright thereās no way a full moon should present every night. Dying Light 1 had much better darkness at night it was scary to be out, volatiles roaming, the pitch black sky at night and then when storms hit it added a whole new ambient atmosphere to the game. Miss those days.

cause my pc would probably explode if they adapted the dynamic lighting in dl1. there is a lot more verticality and texture color in 2 so adding that detail would heavily impact performance.

Just started the dying light games about 2-3 weeks ago and almost maxed out both characters with like 100-150 hours each š¤£š¤£ I just bought DL2 last week and already beat the story 2 times and only have 3 more skills to get before I unlock legend ranks or whatever they are!

I miss the thunderstorms, they did exceptional work with the ambient audio in the first game.
