Hi, first time viewer here. Nice! I live in Pearl River, Louisiana near the Honey Island Swamp. Many people live in the river and have done so for generations. They used to be considered "River People " and usually pretty poor. NOW, wealthier people are seeing the benefits of this type of offgrid living. I'm thinking about it myself even though I'm on high and dry land nearby.

Thanks for sharing, I checked out all the videos on your channel! I’ve been thinking about buying a piece of land and an even when we sell the house but this is definitely something I need to consider now, the biggest thing for me is I’m married with 3 girls (17-21) almost grown lol. I want to make sure I have enough land to build them each a small home on one day but this is very intriguing and I have a new lifestyle to consider. Funny question though- have you ever seen or heard anything strange in the park areas at night!?

Don't know if it's still available but years ago small airports had the same thing if you were staying the night or going into town for a few hours.
Just land and show you pilots and Driver's license and use the car just for the price of gas.
At times you could keep it over night if getting a hotel.

This place was made to boondock on houseboats,,, Go out for a couple of weeks. Come get a dock for a day. Get provisions and go back out for another couple of weeks perfect life.
